Style Swap With Boohoo [Wine + Leopard]

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day weekend! My husband and I celebrated our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple and despite the frozen temps and icy roads, my Boopy made the weekend so special and I truly felt like a queen! From breakfast in bed to a homemade chocolate desert to a surprise painting class where we painted this masterpiece together! Before I move on to today’s look, I want to make sure I thank you for all of your sweet comments on last week’s posts! After posting Monday-Friday last week, I have a whole new level of respect for bloggers who blog five days a week consistently. Thank you for sticking by me and continuing to support each and every post!
Do you ever wonder what it would be like to have someone pick out an item based on what they think speaks to your style? Well a part of me secretly always has, so I loved the idea when the team at Boohoo pitched me the idea of a style challenge to collaborate with Johnnalynn and pick out an item from their website for her to wear and she would in turn do the same for me. When I received this marled knit sweater, I was thrilled that she picked out something I really liked!

I decided to add some texture and interest to this sweater by wearing a tissue thin leopard turtleneck and this wide brim hat. Along with my gold accessories, my black bucket bag and slip on sneakers completed the look!

Come join in on all the fun!

THE RUNDOWN:

[ Marled Knit Sweater c/o Boohoo Official (similar) :: Joe Fresh Leopard Turtleneck (sold out, similar) :: Gap Curvy Jeans (similar) :: Bucket bag (similar) :: Wide Brim hat (similarsplurge) :: Sneakers (very similar) :: ]
So do you think this sweater is my style? Would you pick out something similar for me to wear if you had to style me?
(Make sure you check out Johnnalynn’s blog later this week to see how she styled the item I chose for her!)
I’m about to make some hot cocoa and go cuddle in bed with my hubby and watch movies. We will be officially snowed in tomorrow as we’re expecting 10-16′ of snow overnight. Stay warm loves!

I love your whole look! My favorite is the shoes {want some!} and the perfection of your hair with the hat {that look does NOT come off that way on me!}. Well all that and the leopard because really, who doesn't love leopard?

Hi, I am Ada and I co-hosted #allaboutyou this week. I have stopped by your blog before. You have such nice style Chioma. That marsala sweater is beautiful and looks great with leopard. I love style swaps.

Welcome by my blog. I love making friends. Thanks, Ada. =)

I love the way you layered the leopard turtle neck underneath your sweater! I've never seen anyone do something like that before- the pop of pattern is so daring, but looks gorgeous with maroon! Xoxo
